925 Sterling Silver consists of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% alloy (usually copper) added to give the metal structural durability and strength. Pure silver (999) is too soft to hold intricate jewellery stones or maintain everyday ring/bracelet shapes.
What is the GST rate on Silver in India?
